Akarta Exports is one of three companies within the Ibiixo Group of Companies — a house founded in 1910 by Pragjibhai Karia in the princely state of Morbi as Dayabhai Pragji & Sons, and reconstituted in 2009 as Ibiixo Technologies Pvt Ltd. Exports, technology and back-office services now sit side by side under one ownership, one set of ethics and one head office in Rajkot.

Akarta Exports
The trading arm of the group and the direct continuation of the original 1910 business. Akarta Exports ships quality Indian products around the globe — tiles and sanitary ware, Indian spices and agricultural products, pet food, wire nails and fasteners, engine oils, food-processing machinery and sports goods — currently supplying buyers in over 25 countries, with the list expanding regularly.

The IT arm of the group, and the company under whose name the family business was formally reopened in 2009. Ibiixo Technologies provides website development, mobile application development and dedicated IT support to companies across India and internationally, at a customised scope and an affordable rate.

Ibiixo Business Solutions
The business-process arm, for companies that need additional support without the wage cost of hiring more staff. Is Akarta Exports the same company as Ibiixo?
Akarta Exports is one of three companies inside the Ibiixo Group of Companies. It is the export and sourcing arm; Ibiixo Technologies Pvt Ltd is the IT arm and Ibiixo Business Solutions is the back-office arm. All three share the same ownership, the same chairman and the same head office in Rajkot, Gujarat.
Which company do I contract with for an export order?
Akarta Exports. Your quotation, order confirmation, inspection report and export documentation are all issued in the name of Akarta Exports, from the Rajkot office.
Who founded the group, and when?
Pragjibhai Karia founded the house in 1910 in the then princely state of Morbi, trading as Dayabhai Pragji & Sons in agriculture and import business. The company was rebranded and reopened in 2009 as Ibiixo Technologies Pvt Ltd, and the group grew from there.
